Kim is the director of Foundation Years Nurseries Debdale. Kim has over 20 years experience of working with children in a range of environments from childminding to nursery manager.
Kim was employed by Manchester city Council, working for the early years development team and later the quality assurance team. During my time with Manchester I gained a degree in early years studies.

We are passionate about giving children the best possible start in life and our staff have been carefully chosen for their skills, caring nature and a shared ethos.
We value children’s own work, and as such, promote children’s independence and imagination through the use of resources which they can access independently. We place great importance on the processes children go through as opposed to creating an end product. As we know, children learn far more from using their own imagination and creativity, rather than using pre-cut images to make a picture to take home.
Children will be encouraged to investigate and explore the outdoors through the use of magnifying glasses and binoculars. Everything we do at Foundation Years Nurseries comes from many years of working with children and research into how children play and learn best.
